Slackware Packages

This is the list of packages for Slackware 13.0

Most 32-bits (i486) packages might work on Slackware 12.x as well, but they have not been tested.
All packages can be installed normally with the Slackware pkgtool utility.
More packages for ArmedSlack might be made available at version updates or when spare time is available...

All packages have a link to the original homepage of the program and to the sources. The script to build the package is always included and installed in the /usr/doc/{program}-{version}/ directory. Most build scripts have been sumbitted to the SlackBuilds.org repository and a link to it's page is provided as soon as the script is accepted.

	Hercules Studio	1.1.0	Hercules Studio is a GUI front-end for Hercules. Works only with the 3.07 version built with the "--enable-external-gui" option, like the packages above.							· Hercules

	POV-Ray	3.6.1	POV-Ray, the Persistence of Vision Raytracer is a high-quality, totally free tool for creating stunning three-dimensional graphics.
	neXtgen Povray Editor	0.9.5b	xpe, the neXtgen Povray Editor, is a graphical editor for POV-Ray files, based on the wxWidgets library.							· wxGTK
Monitoring
	cacti	0.8.7e	Cacti is a complete network graphing solution designed to harness the power of RRDTool's data storage and graphing funcionality. This package installs cacti in /var/www/htdocs If you want to use another DOCROOT, use the SlackBuild script to build your own package.							· rrdtool
	msn-proxy	0.7	msn-proxy is a light-weight transparent proxy for MSN clients that allows you to control and monitor the use of Messenger on your network.							· libevent
	nagios	3.2.0	Nagios is a powerful infrastructure monitoring system. I did not build any packages for it, as I really think it should be built and installed from source. A SlackBuild script is available from SlackBuilds.org
	ntop	3.3.10	ntop is a network monitoring tool that can show usage per protocol, per computer, etc.							· libevent · rrdtool · lua · GeoIP
	rrdtool	1.4.2	Data logging and graphing application, needed by cacti and ntop, but can also be used stand-alone.
	Zabbix server	1.8.1	Zabbix is an enterprise-class open source distributed monitoring solution. I did not build packages for it, as I agree with upstream that the server component should be built from source, so use the SlackBuild!
	Zabbix agent	1.8.1	This is the Linux agent that sends data to the Zabbix server.
Mail
	libvmime	0.9.0	An open-source solution for working with MIME messages and Internet messaging services like IMAP, POP or SMTP.							· libgsasl
	libvmime-zarafa	0.7.1	This is a specially patched version of libvmime for Zarafa
	Zarafa	6.30.5	Zarafa offers a replacement for MS Exchange Server, providing Outlook "Look & Feel" webaccess, integration with Linux mailservers, mobile phone support, Outlook sharing (100% MAPI) etc.							· libvmime-zarafa
	Zarafa Web Access	6.30.5	The webaccess module of Zarafa is a Ajax / PHP based solution to access your e-mail, agenda, contacts, etc. via a browser.							· zarafa

	Geeqie	1.0	Geeqie is a lightweight Gtk+ based image viewer for Unix like operating systems. It is a fork from the gqview project and has many bug-fixes and several improvements over the original program.
	inadyn	1.96.2	INADYN periodically checks whether the IP address stored by the DNS server is the real current address of the machine that is running INADYN.
	liblinebreak	2.0	liblinebreak is an implementation of the line breaking algorithm as described in Unicode 5.2.0 Standard
	QComicBook	0.5.0	QComicBook is a graphical application that allows sequential display of archived (zip or rar) images, a well-known technique for distributing digital copies of comic books.
	statifier	1.6.15	Statifier combines a dynamically linked executable with its libraries into one large file. The result can be easier to distribute and may make a 32-bits binary work on 64-bits.
