Out of nostalgia I installed most of the older versions of Slackware on Virtual Machines. Apart from my "normal" machines I maintain running copies of Slackware 1.01, 1.1.2, 2.0.1, 3.5, 4.0 and 9.1
This is a captured screen of Slackware 1.01 running X:

On my blog I wrote several posts on installing the older versions:
- Installing Slackware 1.01
- Installing Slackware 1.1.2
- Installing Slackware 3.5
- Configuring X on 3.5
- Installing Slackware 4.0
- Configuring X on 4.0
I have received several e-mails over the last few weeks asking where to find Slackware 1.01. I know there are some (private) sites around the globe where it can be downloaded, but I didn't want to cause bandwidth problems for the owners. So I decided to host the files on my own site as well.
Until my hosting provider starts complaining about the traffic I am causing, you can download from here:
After another request, I also uploaded Slackware 2.0.1 This version is very complete, including all the sources, so it's also a much bigger file to download:
I might put some other old Slackware versions here, if there is enough demand for them. Drop me a message on the page mentioned below if you are looking for something specific.
If you need any help with older Slackware versions, feel free to contact me here.
